Predictions also make possible emergency operation of reservoirs by estimating time of floods occurrence and expected damages. Predictions are based on recent meteorological and hydrological conditions of the basin and may include future conditions. Although, most of applications are for flood prediction, these may support water supply, hydroelectric requirements, environmental needs and other requirements for operation. Thus, various complex relations and models such as conceptual rainfall-runoff, linear time series, and hybrid models are developed, but in most cases the calculated values obtained by the models are significantly different. The objective of this research is assessment of precision of HMS-SMA conceptual model and bilinear model in prediction of daily runoff of Maroun basin located in Khouzestan province of Iran. The distinction between the current study and previous studies is that the comparison of the HEC-HMS and bilinear time series models has not been considered so far to predict daily runoff in Iran.Materials and Methods: In the current study, daily discharge data of Maroun river within 17 years (1995-2011) at Idenak hydrometric station located in Maroun basin were analyzed. Maroun basin to upstream of Maroun dam according to topography and location of hydrometric stations was divided to four sub-basins and each of the sub-basins were introduced to HMS-SMA conceptual model independently. Amongst different rainfall-runoff models in HEC-HMS conceptual model, Clark’s unit hydrograph was used because of its applicability and acceptable performance in large basins. Furthermore, according to literature review and suggestions, SMA model of linear reservoir base flow was used for estimating of base flow. Flood routing in various reaches were performed by Muskingum method. Additionally, due to possibility of snowfall in the basin, for modeling of snow melt, index temperature method was used. Bilinear models were introduced by Granger and Anderson. In fact, bilinear models are extension of second order Taylor series. Considering to non-persistence of mean and variance of time series of discharge of Idenak station, the time series transformed to a persistent one by differencing, Box-Cox and square root transformation.Results: Considering to various hydrograph shapes in verification and calibration processes, it is evident that HMS-SMA model has a good precision in estimating low flows compare to high flows. The mean and variance of the time series transformed to a persistent one by second order differencing. Then various bilinear models with various orders were fitted to time series data. Verification of the fitted bilinear models to daily discharges of Idenak station was achieved by portemanteau statistic. Finally, bilinear model in the form of BL(2,2,1,1) with the least Akaike criterion was selected as the best model and was applied for comparing to the predicted daily discharges by the HMS-SMA model.Conclusion: Summing up assessment criteria of the HMS-SMA and bilinear models show that bilinear model in the form of BL(2,2,1,1) with a coefficient of determination, sum of residual errors and mean square root of errors equal to 0.91, 8.9, and 17.8 respectively, is the best model with high precision in modeling and prediction of daily discharges of Maroun basin compare to HMS-SMA model. Furthermore, it is concluded that by increasing order of moving average in bilinear models, their ability for predicting daily discharges decreases.}, keywords = {Portemanteau statistic,Prediction of runoff,Time series,Bilinear model,HMS-SMA model}, title_fa = {بررسی دقت مدل مفهومی HMS-SMA و مدل دو خطی سری زمانی در پیش بینی رواناب روزانه مطالعه موردی: (حوضه مارون ایستگاه هیدرومتری ایدنک)}, abstract_fa = {پیش‌بینی رواناب به‌منظور بهره‌برداری مؤثر از مخازن کنترل سیل و سامانه‌های سیل بند خاکی ضروری می‌باشد. پیش‌بینی‌ها همچنین با برآورد زمان و محدوده خسارات مورد انتظار یا شرایط مخرب سیل، بهره‌برداری اضطراری را امکان پذیر میسازند. پیش‌بینی‌ها بر مبنای شرایط هواشناسی و هیدرولوژیکی اخیردر حوضه هستندو ممکن است شرایط هواشناسی پیش‌بینی‌شده در آینده را نیز شامل شوند.اگرچه اکثر کاربردها در زمینه پیش‌بینی سیل می‌باشد، پیش‌بینی رواناب ممکن است تامین آب، انرژی برق‌آبی، نیازهای زیست‌محیطی و دیگر نیازهای بهره‌برداری را هم پشتیبانی نماید. بنابراین تاکنون روابط و الگوهای گوناگون و پیچیده‌ای برای پیش‌بینی میزان آبدهی رودخانه‌ها مانند انواع الگوهای مفهومی بارش-رواناب، الگوهای خطی سری زمانی و الگوی ترکیبی یا هیبرید ارائه‌شده است، لیکن به دلیل عدم شناخت دقیق و نیز پیچیدگی عوامل مؤثر در آبدهی رودخانه‌ها در بسیاری از مواقع میزان مقادیر محاسبه ‌شده از روابط گوناگون تفاوت معنی‌داری با یکدیگر داشته‌اند.هدف از این پژوهش ارزیابی دقت مدل مفهومیHMS-SMAو مدل دوخطی در پیش‌بینی رواناب روزانه در حوضه مارون واقع در استان خوزستان می‌باشد. وجه تمایز این پژوهش با مطالعات پیشین داخلی تاکنون مقایسه این دو مدل در زمینه پیش بینی رواناب روزانه در مطالعات داخلی صورت نگرفته است در این پژوهش داده های شدت جریان روزانه رودخانه مارون به مدت 17 سال طی سال های 1374 تا 1390 در ایستگاه آبسنجی ایدنک در حوضه آبریز مارون مورد تجزیه و تحلیل قرار گرفتهاند. همچنین حوضه آبریز مارون تا محل سد مارون بر اساس توپوگرافی و موقعیت ایستگاه‌های هیدرومتری با استفاده از نرم‌افزار ARCGIS به چهار قسمت تقسیم‌شده و هر یک به‌عنوان یک زیر حوضه به مدل HMS-SMA معرفی‌شده است. از بین مدلهای مختلف تبدیل بارش به رواناب در نرم افزارHEC-HMS، ازمدل هیدروگراف واحد کلارک به دلیل کاربرد گسترده‌تر در حوضههای بزرگ و عملکرد قابل‌قبول آن استفاده شد. همچنین بنابر مرور منابع انجام شده و توصیه‌های صورت گرفته مدل SMA از مدل جریان پایه مخزن خطی برای برآورد جریان پایه بهره گرفته شد. برای روندیابی سیل در طی بازه‌های رودخانه نیز روش روندیابی ماسکینگام انتخاب شد. علاوه براین با توجه به برف‌گیر بودن حوضه برای مدل‌سازی ذوب برف از روش شاخص دما بهره گرفته شده‌است. مدل‌های دوخطی توسط گرانکر و اندرسون معرفی شدند. مدلهای دوخطی، در واقع بسط مرتبه دوم سری تیلور هستند. با توجه به اینکه داده های سری زمانی شدت جریان روزانه ایستگاه ایدنک دارای نا ایستایی در میانگین و واریانس می باشند لذا از روش های تفاضلگیری، تبدیل باکس- کاکس و تابع تبدیل ریشه دوم به منظور ایستا کردن میانگین و واریانس سری استفاده شد.با توجه به شکل‌های مختلف هیدروگراف در مرحله صحتسنجی و واسنجی می‌توان دریافت که مدل HMS-SMAدر برآورد دبی جریان با مقادیر کم نسبت به دبی‌های اوج از دقت خوبی برخوردار است. میانگین و واریانس سری زمانی با استفاده از تفاضل گیری مرتبه دو ایستا گردید. سپس شروع به برازش مدلهای دوخطی مختلف با مرتبه های مختلف شد. صحت سنجی مدل‌های دوخطی برازش یافته بردادههای دبی روزانه ایستگاه ایدنک با استفاده از آماره پورت مانتو تایید شده است. در نهایت مدل دوخطی BL(2,2,1,1)با داشتن کمترین مقدار آماره آکائیک به عنوان مدل مناسبتر برگزیده شد و از آن برای مقایسه با مقادیر دبی جریان روزانه پیش بینی شده مدل HMS-SMA استفاده گردید.نگاه اجمالی به معیارهای ارزیابی دو مدل HMS-SMA و مدل دو خطی نشان می دهد که مدل BL(2,2,1,1) با مقادیر ضریب تعیین، مجموع مربعات باقی‌مانده و ریشه میانگین مربعات خطا، به ترتیب برابر با 91/0، 9/8، 8/17 به‌ عنوان مدل مناسبتر و از دقت زیاد در مدل‌سازی و پیش بینی دبی روزانه حوضه مارون در مقایسه با مدل مفهومی HMS-SMAاست. همچنین مشخص شد که در مدل های دوخطی با افزایش مرتبه میانگین توانایی و قابلیت پیش بینی جریان روزانه آن ها درحوضه مذکور نامناسبتر میگردد.}, keywords_fa = {آماره پورت مانتئو,پیش‌بینی رواناب,سری زمانی,مدل دوخطی,مدل}, url = {https://jwsc.gau.ac.ir/article_4711.html}, eprint = {https://jwsc.gau.ac.ir/article_4711_454c8efc39ecfa608364f3b3a51f0977.pdf} }
