It is the forms of chemical associations of As with various soil solid phases rather than its total concentration that affects its mobility, bioavailability and toxicity to the biosphere. Chemical stabilization technique is based on reduction the mobility and availability of toxic metals by different additives (adsorbents). This study was conducted to evaluate and compare the effectiveness of hematite nanoparticles and acrylic polymers in As immobilization in soils contaminated with different levels of As and find appropriate application dosage of the adsorbents. Materials and methods: A Factorial experiment was conducted using a completely randomized design and three replications. The experimental factors were types and dosages of adsorbents (Four types of adsorbents including hematite nanoparticles, acrylamide - acrylic acid copolymer (A), Maleic anhydride- Styrene - acrylic acid copolymers (B and C) in four levels including 0, 0.05, 0.1 and 0.2 percent) and As levels (0, 6, 12, 24, 48 and 96 mg/kg). Soil samples were incubated for five months, then adsorbents were added to them and after three months the concentrations of soil available As and specifically sorbed As were determined using 0.05 M of ammonium sulfate and 0.05 M of ammonium phosphate respectively. The concentration of sum of soil available and specifically sorbed As was calculated. The effectiveness of the adsorbents in reduction the concentrations of soil As fractions were discussed. Results: SEM and TEM images showed that the average diameter of hematite nanoparticles was 32.69 nm and the morphology was spherical. The results showed that the concentrations of soil available, specifically sorbed and sum of soil available As and specifically sorbed As concentrations increased as the levels of soil As increased. Application of adsorbents decreased the concentrations of soil available, specifically sorbed and sum of soil available As and specifically sorbed As and with increasing the application dosage of adsorbents, the rate of reduction of concentrations of soil available, specifically sorbed and sum of them increased, so that the lowest concentrations of these As fractions obtained from application of 0.2 % of adsorbents. The application of hematite nanoparticles decreased the concentrations of soil As fractions more than other adsorbents, and C, A and B acrylic copolymers stand in next places respectively. At all levels of soil As, the minimum concentration of soil sorbed As was related to soil treated with 0.2% of hematite nanoparticles and the maximum concentration of it was related to control treatment (not treated with adsorbent). The rates of reduction of soil available As concentrations by application of 0.2 % of hematite nanoparticles, C, A and B acrylic copolymers were 60.80%, 56.82%, 37.87%, 26.57% respectively. At the same types and dosageof adsorbents, the rates of reduction of soil specifically sorbed As concentrations were 27.56%, 22.72%, 14.88% and 10%. Finally the rate of reduction of soil total sorbed As concentrations, at the same types and dosage of adsorbent, were 39.39%, 34.84%, 23.05%, 15.88% respectively. The nature and then number of metal chelating ligands determined polymers adsorption capacity. At higher levels of soil As, adsorbents were more effective in reducing the concentrations of soil As. Also their effectiveness in reducing the concentration of soil available As was higher than the soil specifically sorbed As. Conclusion: Hematite nanoparticles and C, A and B acrylic copolymers, especially hematite nanoparticles, can be used as effective adsorbents in reducing the concentrations of soil available As, specifically sorbed As.}, keywords = {Chemical stabilization,Remediation,Soil pollution}, title_fa = {کاهش تحرک آرسنیک در خاک به کمک نانوذرات هماتیت و پلیمرهای اکریلیکی}, abstract_fa = {سابقه و هدف: آرسنیک ازجمله فلزهای سنگینی است که به دلیل اثرات سمی و سرطانزایی آن، توجه به پاکسازی زیست محیطی این عنصر رو به گسترش است. پژوهش حاضر با هدف بررسی و مقایسه میزان کارایی جاذب‌های نانوذرات هماتیت و پلی‌مرهای اکریلیکی در غیرمتحرک کردن آرسنیک در خاک‌های آلوده با سطوح مختلف آرسنیک و یافتن سطح مناسب از جاذب‌های نام‌برده انجام شد. مواد و روش‌ها: بدین منظور یک آزمایش فاکتوریل با دو فاکتور نوع و سطوح جاذب (چهار نوع جاذب شامل نانوذرات هماتیت، کوپلیمر اکریل‌آمید- اکریلیک اسید (A)، و کوپلیمرهای مالئیک انیدرید- استایرن-اکریلیک اسید ( B وC )) در چهار سطح (صفر، 05/0، 1/0 و 2/0 درصد) و سطوح مختلف آرسنیک (صفر، 6، 12، 24، 48 و 96 میلی گرم بر کیلوگرم) در سه تکرار قالب طرح کاملا تصادفی انجام شد. نانوذرات هماتیت (α-Fe2O3) از نیترات آهن سنتز شدند و خصوصیات آن‌ها به وسیله تکنیک‌های XRD، SEM و TEM بررسی ‌گردید. کارایی جاذب‌ها در غیرمتحرک نمودن با اندازه‌گیری غلظت آرسنیک فراهم، جذب شده بصورت اختصاصی و مجوع آنها بوسیله دستگاه ICP-OES بررسی گردید. یافته‌ها: تصویر‌برداری از نانوذرات هماتیت نشان داد که متوسط قطر آنها 69/32 نانومتر و مورفولوژی آنها کروی است. نتایج نشان داد که تاثیر نوع و سطوح جاذب، سطوح آرسنیک خاک و همچنین اثر متقابل آن‌ها بر غلظت آرسنیک فراهم، آرسنیک جذب شده بصورت اختصاصی و مجموع آنها معنی‌دار بود، بطوریکه با افزایش سطح آرسنیک در خاک، غلظت آرسنیک فراهم، آرسنیک جذب شده بصورت اختصاصی و کل آرسنیک جذب شده افزایش یافت. کاربرد جاذب‌ها سبب کاهش غلظت آرسنیک فراهم، آرسنیک جذب شده بصورت اختصاصی و مجموع آنها گردید و با افزایش سطح کاربرد آن‌ها میزان کاهش افزایش یافت بطوری‌که کمترین غلظت از سطح 2/0 درصد جاذب‌ها بدست آمد. کاربرد جاذب نانوذرات هماتیت غلظت آرسنیک را بیش از سایر جاذب‌ها کاهش داد و مالئیک انیدرید- استایرن-اکریلیک اسید کوپلیمر (C)، اکریل‌آمید- اکریلیک اسید کوپلیمر (A) و مالئیک انیدرید- استایرن-اکریلیک اسید کوپلیمر (B) به ترتیب در مراتب بعدی قرار گرفتند. در تمام سطوح آرسنیک خاک، کمترین غلظت آرسنیک جذب شده مربوط به سطح 2/0 درصد جاذب نانوذرات هماتیت و بیشترین غلظت آن مربوط به تیمار شاهد (بدون کاربرد جاذب) بود. میزان کاهش غلظت آرسنیک فراهم خاک با کاربرد سطح 2/0 درصد جاذب‌های نانوذرات هماتیت، و پلی‌مرهای اکریلیکی C، A و B به‌ترتیب 80/60%، 82/56%، 87/37% و 57/26% بود. در نوع و سطح جاذب مشابه، میزان کاهش غلظت آرسنیک جذب شده بصورت اختصاصی، به‌ترتیب 56/27%، 72/22%، 88/14% و 10% بود. در نهایت میزان کاهش غلظت کل آرسنیک جذب شده، در نوع و سطح جاذب مشابه به‌ترتیب 39/39%، 84/34%، 05/23% و 88/15% بود. در پلی‌مرها ماهیت و سپس تعداد لیگاندهای کلاته کنند‌ه‌ی فلز تعیین کننده ظرفیت جذب آن‌ها بود. جاذب‌ها در سطوح بالاتر آرسنیک خاک نسبت به سطوح پایین آن، توانایی بیشتری در کاهش غلظت آرسنیک داشتند. همچنین کارایی آن‌ها در کاهش غلظت آرسنیک قابل جذب خاک بیشتر از آرسنیک جذب شده بصورت اختصاصی بود. نتیجه گیری: نانوذرات هماتیت، پلی‌مرهای اکریلیکی مالئیک انیدرید- استایرن-اکریلیک اسید B) و C (و اکریل‌آمید- اکریلیک اسید (A) بالاخص نانوذرات هماتیت می‌توانند به عنوان جاذب‌های موثر جهت کاهش غلظت آرسنیک فراهم، جذب شده بصورت اختصاصی و مجموع آنها در خاک‌های آلوده بکار روند.}, keywords_fa = {آلودگی خاک,پالایش,تثبیت شیمیایی}, url = {https://jwsc.gau.ac.ir/article_3479.html}, eprint = {https://jwsc.gau.ac.ir/article_3479_23e07cf7ef8f0ed1b9338a17e72b8c45.pdf} }
